Berlin Encounters: Intensive Communication Course and Cultural Programme (Level A2/B1 – beginners / intermediate)
Target group
Students with basic knowledge of the German language who wish to improve their ability to communicate in German
No complete beginners!
Admission requirements
About 150-200 hours of German; knowledge of basic grammar (use of present and perfect tense, modal verbs, local and temporal prepositions); Openness to experiencing German language classes using communicative teaching methods
A placement test on the day of the arrival will verify the specific course or programme, so that all students will be placed in groups according to their level of German.
Participants
30 participants (2 groups à approx. 15 students)
Course duration
72 hours of language classes in the mornings and an additional 30 hours programme of cultural studies in the afternoon (individual as well as guided tours through the city / course related study projects / discussions with experts on various subjects) – optional
Participation in the programme of cultural studies is not obligatory but appreciated.
